MyePets.com is a safe and fun interactive virtual environment where kids can adopt for, play with, and nurture their very own MyePet.

The site is designed to allow kids to play games to earn credits to buy things for their pets and their houses. The more credits your child earns, the more stuff they can buy for their pet and house.

The purchase of a Rescue Pet stuffed animal with a secret code is required to enter the site.

You can buy an ePet online at their site or at other retail stores such as Toys R Us, Wal-Mart, Amazon, Target, Kmart, eToys and more for $9.99 and up.

Features for Kids

The site features kid friendly online games that allow the player to accumulate credits that are used to purchase meals and other items for the pet or stuff to decorate their house.

The child gets to take their pet to the amusement park, groomed at the spa, arcade, the Vet (for shots!) and much more. Your child can also fill out and register his adoption certificate at the Adoption Center.

ePets are charming and adorable, with many to choose from – a few of our favorites are Rescue Pets Wake Me Up Chocolate Lab, Rescue Pets my epets- Mutt and Rescue Pets my epets- Monkey.

Parent Features & Concerns

The site offers a chat environment where members can communicate with other ePet owners. The system includes a “bad word filter” and requires parental approval before the child can participate. Parents are able to adjust communication settings for children under 13.

When kids talk in chat they are identified by their ePet’s name, not their own name, and no personal information is displayed. Messages can be created using “canned” text (kids chose predefined sentences), but other options are also available such as Friend to Friend Text and Open Text – but both require approval from parents of children under the age of 13.

You and your child can instantly block anyone from communicating with him/her at any time should inappropriate behavior arise and it should be reported to MyePets.com directly so it can be taken care of properly.

ePet’s is intended to be a safe place for kids online where they can explore a virtual world while also learning how to responsibly care for their pet.
