Handipoints is a brilliant twofold plan if you ask us. It’s a powerful parenting tool for task and goal management and it features HandiLand, a virtual world where kids can adopt their very own cartoon cat.
Kids can accumulate and use points to buy goodies for their cat by completely their chores and meeting goals.
Sign Up
Parents visit the site first to create a chore chart. The chart consists of common chores and you can also add your own custom chores to include on the chart. Sign up is free and full of goodies.
Features for Kids
Kids can log into Handipoints and complete goals and tasks that have been assigned to them by their parents. There are vibrant, fun charts that your child can use to mark their progress and reward systems to keep them motivated as they go and mark off more tasks.
Earn purple bonus points for completing chores, studying and staying healthy. Kids can then save up the bonus points to buy rewards from parents. Once your child earns a goal that you have decided on together, you purchase it from a store.
Kids can also use their points to buy free rewards like clothing for their cats, use bonus points to watch cartoons and play games.
There are a plethora of options for using Handipoints that are completely free and best of all they will help to keep your children busy working towards goals and getting things done. Its a win/win for you and them!
Parent Features & Concerns
Parents have a special area where they can keep track of their child’s tasks, goals and progress while also helping them to be responsible and keep healthy habits.
The interface is customizable and full of great features to help you make it work best for you and your child. When parents log into the program they can see an overview of each child’s progress.
The site also includes a Parents’ Forum named Mommy Points that is filled with helpful articles and tips on parenting and more that parents will easily relate too and enjoy reading.
We played on the site for a couple hours and we can’t find a downside. Handipoints is a fun way for both you and your kids to keep on track with chores and goals and also how much allowance you owe them!
