Girls can sign up and start by creating a Barbie Girl – girls can pick hair color, eye color, clothing, accessories and more for their Barbie Girl.
Next you can decorate your Barbie Girl’s room so it displays your own personal style. You can pick the room decor, furniture, accessories and more.
Girls can also play fun games to win B bucks (virtual money) that can be used to buy more accessories for her Barbie Girl and room at the Barbie Girl Shopping Center. Items are stored in Barbie Girls Closet until you need them or want to switch them around.

Mattel has gone to great lengths to make Barbie Girls a safe hangout for girls. Chatting is monitored and special filters in the public chat rooms prevent the exchange of personal information.
Parents should know that girls are highly encouraged to embrace all things Barbie from beauty/fashion (Barbie avatars eyes, clothes and hair and accessories) to consumerism (shopping) and home décor. Although, no ads are shown on the website, girls can earn B bucks or special codes by purchasing (with real cash) more Barbie products.
